Role: Senior Network Engineer
Start: ASAP
Location: Belgium, on site 3 days mandatory
Language: English
Duration: 6 months start

This role is an important element of the overall global team to help organise and safeguard a stable IT infrastructure driven by business needs.
You are co-responsible for the maintenance of the Network Infrastructure. You manage projects that are focused on your area of expertise. You independently apply procedures and make recommendations on various complex IT matters.
Skills:
- 5 years of relevant experience as a Sr. Network Engineer
- Experience in similar projects of Network security and segmentation work
- Structured, project driven, decisive and conscientious
- Knowledge of Logistics is an important plus...as is experience in a multinational matrix environment
- Preferably a somewhat broader IT knowledge of Clients, Servers and Storage.
- Prepared to occasionally work during weekends if needed
- Prepared to work in an on-call regime to offer operational support outside regular working windows
- Network infrastructure design, Project coordination and Implementations:
- Develop, test & implement Network solutions and processes.
- Professional technical knowledge : LAN, WAN, WLAN, Cisco, data-cabling , TCP/IP, security, firewall and VPN
- Network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools are not unknown to you
- Experience in a DevNetOps is a bonus...as is experience in SAFe Agile
- Certifications or the equivalent knowledge:
o CCNP Enterprise
o ENWLSI
o ENWLSD
