Job Title: Senior SAP Basis Expert - Upgrade Specialist (SAP S/4HANA 2020FP2 to 2023FP3)

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP Basis Expert with a deep focus on upgrading SAP S/4HANA systems to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will take full ownership of the SAP S/4HANA 2020FP2 to 2023FP3 upgrade, ensuring a seamless transition while maintaining system stability and optimizing performance. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-profile upgrade project and contribute to the continued success of our SAP landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Technical Upgrade: Manage and drive the upgrade of SAP S/4HANA from version 2020FP2 to 2023FP3, ensuring all stages of the process are executed with precision.
• Detailed Upgrade Planning: Develop, implement, and maintain an upgrade plan, covering system preparation, downtime optimization, and post-upgrade activities.
• System Health and Troubleshooting: Conduct system health checks, optimize performance, and resolve issues during the upgrade to ensure a smooth transition.
• Collaboration Across Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to minimize business disruptions during the upgrade process.
• Expert Guidance: Provide expert-level support and guidance on challenges related to the upgrade, including troubleshooting issues and recommending solutions.
• System Landscape Review: Analyze and prepare the SAP S/4HANA upgrade plan, ensuring all dependencies and integration points are understood.
• Integration Management: Manage the setup of a parallel landscape for the upgrade, including integration with dependent SAP and Non-SAP applications such as BW4HANA, FIORI, SLT, Web Dispatcher, HANA, and more.
• Upgrade Transport Management: Build and configure the upgrade Transport Management and retrofit strategy for all required components.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with various technical and functional teams on upgrade activities, including SPDD/SPAU, technical steps, and post-upgrade functional activities.
• Post-Upgrade Support: Troubleshoot and resolve any pre- or post-upgrade issues to ensure a stable and fully functional system.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:

• Extensive Experience with SAP S/4HANA: Proven expertise in S/4HANA Application Administration, including upgrades, implementations, and troubleshooting.
• HANA Database Administration: Deep knowledge of HANA Database administration, with hands-on experience managing HANA upgrades and resolving issues.
• Fiori Administration: Expertise in Fiori Administration, with the ability to manage Fiori applications and ensure seamless upgrades.
• SAP Applications Administration: Experience managing various SAP applications such as SLT, GRC, Fiori, BW4HANA, DP Agent, Web Dispatcher, ADS, and Content Server.
• Functional Understanding of S4HANA: Solid understanding of the functional aspects of an S/4HANA upgrade, not just the technical BASIS perspective.
• Integration Expertise: Strong experience with S/4HANA integration with other SAP and Non-SAP systems, ensuring seamless data flow and minimal disruption.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience with Linux/Unix OS and SUSE administration for SAP applications.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
