Role: Power Platform Consultant

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Platform Consultant with strong expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to support a major automation initiative aimed at optimizing and modernizing existing business processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, process owners, and technical teams to design, build, integrate, and maintain scalable solutions that drive efficiency and improve operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Development

• Design, build, and deploy Canvas and Model-Driven Power Apps to streamline and digitize business workflows.
• Develop and optimize Power Automate flows (cloud flows, process automation, approvals, RPA) to replace manual processes.
• Create interactive, visually compelling Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable business insights.
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with SharePoint, Dataverse, Microsoft 365, SQL, and third-party APIs as needed.

Process Improvement & Analysis

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand existing processes, pain points, and automation opportunities.
• Document current-state and future-state process flows using industry-standard methods.
• Recommend best practices for process re-engineering, data governance, and automation adoption.

Project Execution & Support

• Work as part of an automation project team to deliver end-to-end solutions on time and within scope.
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of Power Platform solutions.
• Provide user training, documentation, and post-deployment support.
• Ensure solutions comply with security, compliance, and governance policies.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Power Platform, including:
• Power Apps (Canvas, Model-Driven, Connectors, Dataverse)
• Power Automate (flows, RPA, integrations)
• Power BI (DAX, modeling, data visualization, gateway configuration)
• Experience with Microsoft 365 (SharePoint Online, Teams, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with data modeling, SQL, JSON, and APIs.
• Ability to create reusable components, templates, and connectors.
