RED Global - Network & Security Juniper Technical SME - On-site in Bengaluru

On behalf of a global client, RED is currently looking for a Juniper Network Security Technical SME with good technical knowledge in Cisco, to deliver high-quality support, troubleshooting, and guidance across network infrastructure solutions.

Role Details:

• Duration - 12 Months + Extension
• Location - On-site in Bengaluru
• Language - English
• Capacity - 5 days/week - On site 9.5 hours/day (Rotational Shifts)
• Start - ASAP
• Rate - Maximum 60-80 USD/day based on experience.
• Experience - 5 to 8+ years of hands-on experience in a technical role focused on Juniper and Cisco networking.

Job Description:

• Serve as the technical SME on Cisco and Juniper network solutions, routing and switching, and wireless deployments, focusing on Juniper Mist and Aruba wireless technologies.
• Provide expert-level troubleshooting and support for complex network issues, working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to resolve escalated problems.
• Design, implement, and optimize network infrastructure, ensuring efficient, secure, and reliable performance across client environments.
• Conduct network assessments, perform root cause analysis, and implement enhancements for high availability and resilience.
• Work with network monitoring tools to proactively identify and address issues.
• Ensure network security compliance, following best practices for configurations, policies, and procedures.

Required Technical Skills and Certifications:

• Cisco Networking: Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and networking protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, etc.).
• Juniper Networking: Deep expertise with Juniper network solutions, specifically Junos OS and Juniper routing and switching.
• Routing & Switching Protocols: Proficient with Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols, IP subnetting, VLANs, QoS, and MPLS.
• Juniper Mist Wireless: Experience with deploying and troubleshooting Juniper Mist wireless access points, with knowledge of AI-driven networking and user experience optimization.

Certifications: Active certifications in at least one of the following:
* Juniper JNCIS-ENT (Juniper Networks Certified Specialist - Enterprise Routing & Switching)
* Juniper JNCIP-ENT (Juniper Networks Certified Professional - Enterprise Routing & Switching)
* Juniper JNCIS-SEC (Juniper Networks Certified Specialist - Security)
