Michael Joyce
Profile
Career history
Michael joined RED in January 2020 as Chief Financial Officer. He began his accomplished career in 1990 at Coopers & Lybrand, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1993 and spent four years in Melbourne, Australia.
Returning to the UK in 1998, Michael held several senior finance roles before being appointed as CFO at IT specialist recruiter, InterQuest Group, in January 2004. During Michael’s 12 year tenure, InterQuest grew rapidly, floated on AIM in 2005 and acquired and integrated eight specialist recruitment businesses.
In January 2016, Michael was appointed CFO at FiveTen Group Limited, a specialist recruiter, as part of a new management team that successfully delivered a three-year business plan.
Fun facts
Michael spends his weekends ferrying his young children from one sporting or social activity to another and nicking off to the golf course if a chance presents itself
If he had one wish, it would be that he could actually play golf competently
