Jue Hou

Career history
Jue began her career in sales and service management before venturing into the wonderful world of HR.
After discovering a genuine passion for people talent management in a seconded position as an HR lead focusing on personnel assessment at TESCO HQ, Jue joined a service outsourcing company to lead and grow an in-house team managing high volume recruitment of services engineers nationwide. There she developed and implemented the end-to-end processes of temporary and fixed-term hires as well as led the team to a 700+ hires within an 18-months period.
The desire for a global career combined with curiosity for technology recruitment, led to Jue joining RED in 2012 to establish its business in the APAC region. Nearly a decade on, having accomplished success in a variety of positions within the company, Jue assumed the position of Global Strategy Director in 2019, leading RED’s first-class global business development strategies. Then in 2020 Jue also became Managing Director of Key Accounts, extending her responsibilities to leading RED’s strategic consulting accounts business group.
On business, Jue believes that true partnership must be built on mutual trust, together with a long-term commitment to bringing value to that partnership.
On people, she believes that everyone can be a leader irrespective of their title, status, or assumed responsibility.
These two core values form the foundation of Jue’s way of being, personally and professionally.
Fun facts
In her spare time, Jue loves staying fit. She trains six days a week and develops her own exercise and nutrition programmes.
Jue is also passionate about coaching, helping people realise and reach their full potential.
