Andy Duke

Career history
A graduate of the University of Nottingham, Andy has worked for 24 years in the SAP and Technology Recruitment Industry across Europe, whilst having also been a Professional and Semi-Professional Rugby player. Andy joined RED in 2001 and has been a cornerstone in the international growth of RED over the last 20 years.
He has managed and driven a multitude of successful Permanent & Executive SAP & Digital Recruitment campaigns across Europe for many of RED's biggest clients and has managed a Contract SAP Recruitment business that operates across Europe.
In 2004 Andy opened RED's first international office in Koln, Germany and later in 2005 was part of the first MBO of RED by Inflexion. In 2007 Andy relocated to Koln as the Head of Germany and successfully managed the expansion of Red’s European business with the establishment and subsequent growth of offices in Munich, Frankfurt & Zurich.
In 2011 Andy was again part of the team for the second MBO of RED by Dunedin before being appointed Managing Director of Europe in 2014. In 2016 Andy relocated back to the UK to become the Managing Director of RED Executive, the Senior Appointments Division of the RED Group.
2020 was a busy year for Andy, whilst he continued to run RED Executive, he also became Managing Director of RED's Permanent London Division that provides Permanent SAP and Technology recruitment services across the European landscape and he also became Managing Director of RED's Marketing Division.
In 2022, Andy Duke transitioned into the role of Group Client Development Director at RED.

Awarded a Bachelor’s degree in French, History, and Politics from The University of Nottingham
Fun facts
Andy now lives in Winchester, UK, with his wife and three children but would much rather have carried on living in Germany and regrets never applying for his German citizenship
He is a keen cyclist, skier, and fan of all things rugby - he’s a proud coach of Junior rugby at Winchester RFC and used to play professionally at Bedford Blues.
Andy is the longest-standing RED employee and has been here for 20 years!

After 20 years it's hard to summarise what I love about this place, but predictably it comes down to two things – first, a belief in the mission and secondly a love of the people I’ve worked with. Simple!
